Unveiled in August 2024 at Monterey and delivered from 2026, the Temerario succeeds the Huracán and completes Lamborghini's 'Direzione Cor Tauri' electrification strategy, following the Revuelto. Its heart is entirely new: a 4.0-litre twin-turbo flat-plane crank V8 developed wholly in Sant'Agata, which revs to over 10,000rpm — a first for a series-production engine from the marque — thanks to titanium con rods and DLC-coated finger followers inspired by competition engineering.

Three electric motors (two on the front axle, one between the engine and gearbox) bring total system output to 920bhp, enabling 0-62mph in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 340km/h. Classified as an HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle), the Temerario goes head-to-head with the Ferrari 296 GTB and McLaren Artura in the 'entry-level' hybrid supercar segment. The aluminium spaceframe chassis is likewise entirely new.
