The Cobra’s Kiss! Some years ago, back in the 60’s, a young genius called Carroll Shelby had the brilliant, and wise idea to fit a Ford V8 engine in a British car that that weighed as much as an ironing board. What could possibly go wrong? Actually, things went rather well. The AC Shelby Cobra was created and a legend was born. The Cobra is the most replicated car in the world and, to be honest, we understand why. Everyone wants a piece of it because this is America’s finest. Rumor has it that by the end of Carroll Shelby’s life, when money was scarce, he agreed to sigh authenticity certificate for cars that weren’t even real. Anyway, we aren’t here to criticize but celebrate one man’s vision, project and success that will live on forever. . This is a fully original AC Shelby Cobra from 1964. It was delivered new in Los Angeles and cost CHF 65’000.- when new. It is finished in a beautiful Guardsman Blue A-1630, just like the first ever Cobra that rolled out of the production line. The car weighs 950 kg and the 4.7-litres engine makes over 280 horsepower. That’s enough to give you the chills of your life!
